He has also been actively involved in client communications, preparing RFPs for government agencies, and managing project execution. Pratik is proficient in using advanced tools like PVsyst for generation reports and Helioscope for shadow analysis. His recent key contributions include the preparation of RFPs, and the selection of EPC vendors for large-scale projects, including a 1047 MW ground-mounted solar plant and a 5 MW project under Maharashtra's Green Open Access policy. Under his guidance and leadership REC has excelled in all fields and surpassed all its previous targets and performance. Prior to joining REC, Shri Sharma was Director (Projects), Power Finance Corporation Limited, where he was responsible for all functions of Projects Division including appraisal of the projects financed by the Company. During his tenure as Executive Director in PFC, he was Director (in-charge) for development of Krishnapatnam Ultra Mega Power Project and was responsible for implementation of R-APDRP in India. He has also worked in Central Electricity Authority (CEA), where he was involved in design, engineering and consultancy of Nathpa Jhakri Hydro-electric Project (1500 MW). During his stint in the Ministry of Power, he was also looking after operations of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, THDC, SJVNL, BBMB and NEEPCO, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) under administrative control of Ministry of Power. He was also instrumental in formulating the policies for APDRP and Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY). Shri Rajeev Sharma was holding 60 Equity Shares in the Company as on March 31, 2015.
